CHRIS BARKER

I qualified from the University of East Anglia in 2006 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and the Health and Care Professions Council.

I initially started my career within the NHS, working in a musculoskeletal setting. I have spent time in private practice locally and in Central London over the last 15 years. I have completed various post graduate courses including MSc level credits, to further develop advanced skills in assessment; diagnosis; and management of all aspects of neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction within a biopsychosocial framework.

I am currently the Outpatient Clinical Lead Physiotherapist at Southend Hospital MSE Trust, and I am a CASE certified Musculoskeletal Sonographer providing diagnostics and ultrasound guided injections for joint and soft tissue. I am currently completing my MSc in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound at the University of Essex.
